Purpose of the Position: Highly experienced Military Fixed Wing Pilot Training Subject Matter Expert to support the development of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Pilot Training Program
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Position Overview:
• Leverage current tactical experience to support the development common and service unique pilot training program for the Joint Strike Fighter aircraft program. Responsibilities include analysis of JSF aircraft systems, weapons systems and tactics to determine pilot training requirements.
• Provide expertise on pilot training techniques, philosophy, and grading.
• Produce instructional system design (ISD) documents as required for classroom, Training Device and Flight training instruction.
• Produce a weekly report of tasks planned and accomplished
• Research technical documents as required to accomplish deliverables
• Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
• 7+ years military tactical aviation experience
• Operational squadron training experience (Pilot Training Officer, Scheduler, etc)
• In-depth knowledge of operational squadron operations department and maintenance department interfaces
• Weapons school graduate/instructor a plus
• Experience/knowledge of current military Training and Readiness tracking programs
• Familiar with FRS/RTU and operational squadron training similarities and differences
• Travel as required to accomplish tasking
• Must be a US citizen
• Must be qualified to obtain, currently hold or have held a Top Secret clearance.
