SUMMARY

Location: Oshkosh/Afghanistan

Monitor defense product support functions in the area of operation as assigned. Provide service administration, fielding support, regional location support, repair part identification/sourcing/delivery, and warranty administration as required. Maintain customer satisfaction and maximize aftermarket sales by providing customers and dealers with technical assistance in support of Defense contracts and Oshkosh service location business. Manage service sales and repair part delivery as required. Control, monitor and maintain cost, schedules, performance requirements and objectives under assigned government programs/contracts related to aftermarket parts, service sales, and warranty support.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Travel as required in support of military customers and service providers.

2. Diagnose, repair, expedite, and service defense vehicle concerns. If necessary, coordinate customer repairs with local service providers and/or FSR.

3. Coordinate with customers, dealers, and fellow employees to get service, service sales, and parts expedited to the customer’s satisfaction.

4. Develop as required recommended service parts stocking requirements as directed.

5. Develop and report critical service, service sales, parts delivery, retrofit, recall, Oshkosh service location performance, and warranty concerns.

6. Organize and perform administrative and management functions required for timely and performance to contract/customer requirement.

7. Submit/assist proposals for new business opportunities and system changes.

8. Work in liaison with corporate departments to avoid and resolve service, service sales, repair parts, parts delivery, or field issues and concerns.

9. Track, analyze and review reports to ensure that costs, schedule, deliveries, and performance under assigned government, customer, work order, or company programs are being controlled and managed within established guidelines.

10. Recommend and provide instruction to operators and maintainers on the correct operations and or maintenance procedures for defense vehicles, or systems.

11. Prepare additional data and/or correspondence as may be required.

12. Present a professional image of Oshkosh Corporation to U.S. agencies, all customers, our suppliers, and if required foreign government employees.

13. Assist in for an assigned Oshkosh service location projects, its set-up and operation.

14. Assist in identifying new business opportunities.

15. Prepare, review, project set-up, location inventory set-up, operating systems set-up, warranty system, parts requests, FSR reports, vehicle out of service report, fielding quality reports, and retrofit/recall requirements.

16. Assist recover of warranty/project dollars spent on supplier parts and components with value from the supplier, and credit the appropriate account.

17. Prepare department and if necessary contract budgets.

18. Represent Oshkosh at key events and customer briefings.







BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, automotive technical, mechanical engineering, or related field.

• A minimum of 5-years relevant experience is required.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail are required.

• The individual must be able to obtain a secret government
