JOB DESCRIPTION:
Daily responsibilities
1. Dispatch drivers – Load information, shipment requirements and directions to pick up and delivery are to be communicated to the driver. Driver contact information (Driver cell, truck number, trailer number, dispatch contact, etc) will be updated in the system. This information is mission critical and this position will be evaluated on the accuracy and reliability of this information.
2. Track loads – All active loads will be tracked and updated by 0930 each morning. All active loads will be tracked and updated by 1630 each afternoon.
3. Confirm pickup and Delivery – All scheduled pickups and deliveries will be confirmed with the driver at the scheduled times.
4. Enter setups – New carriers (not already in the system) will be entered into PCS.
5. Update insurance – Current carriers with expiring insurance documentation must be contacted and updated insurance information updated.
6. Acquire cross training functionality on Customer Service and Carrier Operations.

Reports To: Team Leader
This is an entry-level position monitoring and supervising shipments as well as supporting the carrier representatives. We use this position to introduce new hires to the process and procedures Clarity employs to serve our clients and carriers. Once an employee becomes adept and experienced in the responsibilities and duties detailed above, that employee will transition into a Carrier Representative Level I position. We anticipate this transition to occur within 3 months of their hire date.
New hires will complete a 90-day evaluation period. Upon satisfactory completion the employee will be fully eligible for team bonus and possible advancement!
