Purdue University has just the job for you! The Administrative Computing team is seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, IT professional for their Software Developer position.
The Software Developer will analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain software systems to support Housing and Food Services. Responsibilities may include participating in the full life-cycle of software development, support customers in use of in-house developed software and support implementation projects for new computer software installations. The Software Developer must also maintain awareness of trends in the fields of: higher education, web, IT security and object oriented programming.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
•Bachelor's degree including computer related coursework (at least 15 credit hours of computer database and programming-related courses).
•One year experience designing, developing and implementing web and pc based enterprise software applications.
•Related experience in which customer service, analysis, decision making and problem solving have been demonstrated.
•Leadership competencies in teamwork, initiative, innovation, and planning and organizing.
•Interpersonal competencies in customer focus, teamwork/collaboration, impact/influence.
•Functional competencies in a wide variety of areas such as databases, reporting tools, and web development.
•Personal competencies in integrity, flexibility/adaptability, stress management, judgment/problem solving, analysis/problem assessment and judgment/problem solving.
•Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds utilizing The Basic Principles and teamwork in daily work activities.
Preferred:
•Skills in some of the following areas: SQL Server, ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio, OO Programming.
