Logistics Analyst
Job Description:
Candidate will serve as logistics support team member for the Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Engineer Systems, Engineer Support Equipment Team. Provide logistics support for the development, fielding,
and lifestyle operations of fuel, water, and environmental control equipment. Serve as principle logistician and lead small teams in developing logistics support plans, conducting logistics related analyses such as sparing requirements development and evaluation of logistics
support alternatives. Conduct market research of Commercial Off The Shelf equipment and present trade-off analyses. Prepare acquisition documentation related to logistics such as the Supportability Plan, Fielding Plan, and pertinent sections of the Marine Corps Single
Acquisition Management Plan. Assist in the development of fielding plans and technical manuals. Track production, fielding, training of new equipment. Able to work independently, but must be a team player. Attend meetings, set agendas, record and publish minutes. Extensive experience as an operational and/or acquisition logistician may substitute for a degree.
A background in engineer equipment is desirable. Working knowledge of MS Office applications required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal a must. Knowledge of DoD 5000 process required.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Logistics or related field required. Extensive experience as an operational and/or acquisition logistician may substitute for bachelor's degree
Required Skills:
DAWIA Level I Certified Logistics Management or equivalent experience.
Must be eligible for DoD security clearance.
Desired Skills:
DoD acquisition logistics experience. USMC, USN, USA engineer equipment experience.
DAWIA Level II Certified Logistics Management or equivalent.
