Geospatial Scientist / Geospatial Analyst
- provide geospatial subject matter expertise and collaborate with All-Source and Socio-Cultural Dynamics (SCD)/Human Terrain (HT) Analysts to provide all-source geospatial intelligence analysis, using multi-source information (e.g., imagery, cartographic data, etc.) to provide the common operational view.
- create, load, and integrate geospatial data layers including cultural/social layer for named areas of interest using ArcGIS to support analytical modeling. The contractor shall provide integrated geospatial and temporal analysis to discover and characterize relationships, trends, and infer conclusions to enable pattern analysis.
- maintain Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Arc Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS) and intelligence spatial data layers to support data integration.
- assist in the integration of data mining, visualization, nodal analysis, and temporal tools with the ArcGIS tools and the integration of National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency products.
- incorporate non-standard multi-format data sets into geospatial systems and databases for data manipulation and exploitation; execute advanced computational and statistical modeling applications for geospatial analysis, display and pattern recognition; refine and export complex algorithmic data results into user-friendly analytical products for simplified geospatial understanding; and obtain, maintain, disseminate and refresh 1000s of data layers.
-coordinate with other Command and national geospatial specialists to ensure standardization, continuity of operations, and integration of capabilities.
Geospatial Scientist- Senior Level (8+ yrs experience or PhD in GIS Required)
- minimum of 8 years GIS experience or hold a doctorate in GIS.
- certified and/or fully trained on the ESRI ArcGIS suite of software and have the capacity to be trained on SPADAC Signature Analyst (geospatial predictive analysis tool).
- skills to develop, manipulate, and maintain geospatial databases.
Geospatial Analyst - Junior to Mid Level (No degree required- BA/BS preferred)
- 4 to 7 years of GIS experience or a Bachelors degree in GIS.
- certified and/or fully trained on the ESRI ArcGIS suite of software and have the capacity to be trained on SPADAC Signature Analyst (geospatial predictive analysis tool).
-skills to develop, manipulate, and maintain geospatial databases.
- possess GIS experience;
-1 position each located at Tampa, Miami, Hawaii, and 2 in Germany.
- Travel is required (25% or less) to various CONUS and OCONUS (including hazardous locations) locations to gather data for the performance of the above tasks.
