Education: Technical Training in operating systems, networking, and systems programming. Within one and a half years of assuming duties: individual must complete: MSCE and CCNP. Must have .NET experience
Experience: Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with IT systems engineering, development, production, or test and evaluation of network systems/subsystems. Experience must include; Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support. Must have at least ten (10) years experience with protocol suites, programming, network security, Windows, network. Formal certification from Microsoft is highly desirable. Candidate must have expertise supporting engineering reviews, review boards, working groups and conference calls, developing briefs and engineering documentation for each solution/product, performing requirements analysis (functional and security), conducting testing, supporting SSAD development and CT&E and ST&E efforts, supporting correction of security findings, conducting SOVTs, and experience providing knowl
edge transfer to operators and providing on call troubleshooting of technical operational issues. Must have at least three (3) years of the last five (5) years of experience associated with the development, testing, and analysis of systems/subsystems, specially in the area of Information Technology. Additionally, the position requires demonstrated experience in conducting independent analyses and development of detailed testing and support requirements of DoD IT or C4ISR systems.
This person will work with a team of highly skilled engineers, they will be part of the team performing hands on engineering work, and they must be able to work independently. They must be willing to take direction from other senior members of the team. The experience requirement may NOT be waived. This is a permanent full time position on a 3 year contract requires a secret clearance. The position is available now. I have 4 requisitions posted to capture different types of talent.
