Education Specialist – Certification Programs

The Education Specialist will produce an easy-to-follow program for students and their supervisors that identifies all steps and milestones in the certification workflow. Specifically, the program should include:
• Listing of available certifications
• For each certification:
o Clear requirements for eligibility; this can include the vendor-specific requirements as well as any internal requirements
o An online checklist for students identifying each step in the certification process, from assessing eligibility through maintenance/remediation
o An online checklist for supervisors to assist them in assessing employee eligibility through maintenance/remediation
o Assessment testing throughout each phase of the program, from a preliminary readiness assessment through practice exams
o Blended learning solutions to include classroom training, Web-based courseware, and (where appropriate) synchronous learning sessions using the client’s Video Teleconferencing capabilities
o Specific steps for maintaining certifications, including any annual costs
o A detailed remediation program for any student who fails their exam, including study materials, learning support, recommended timeframes for studying, and detailed directions for registering for and completing an exam
