This is a Subject Matter Expert II position.
This person will help to shape the ITSS customer enterprise in the utilization of services while working to establish broader use of standards and adoption of SOA. The SOA architect position requires leadership, vision, and strong work experiences. We are looking for an experienced SOA architect with a proven track record of taking an organization from its infancy in the use of web services to an established Service Oriented Architecture using a broad set of tools including but not limited to Java, and .net. The SOA architect will work with both technical and customer leadership to promote the technology, establish policy, develop standards, and an implementation plan for potentially several implementations. A fully qualified SOA Architect should be comfortable training the technical workforce and leading the implementation of a SOA solution.
Required Skills:
• Experience with ESB products
• Experience in J2EE applications
• Experience in SOA Governance
• Participation in design and development of Java-based web services
• OOP
• XML
• UML
• Excellent Communicator
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Data modeling, SQL and Oracle stored procedures.
• Knowledge of Army business processes and data
• UDDI
This is a Team ITSS position with Jacobs Technology.
The candidate must 15 years relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 13 years relevant experience and a Masters Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field.
